本研究以一个数字小区模型的建立为例，利用GIS(地理信息系统)的宏观室外建模及地理信息分析查询等功能和BIM(建筑信息模型)带有建筑工程属性的特点，借助ArcGIS和Revit等工具来建造小区模型。同时文中对三维GIS模型及BIM模型的结合进行初步探讨，并对其在未来数字城市乃至智慧城市中的应用提出展望。

This is a case study to establish a digital community model, utilizing the functions of GIS (Geographic Information System) about outdoor macro modeling and geographic information analysis as well as the features with project properties of BIM (Building Information Model), and to build a community model by means of tools such as ArcGIS and Revit. The paper have made a preliminary discussion about the combination of three-dimensional GIS model and BIM model, simultaneously proposed the prospect about its application in the future digital city, even the Smart City.
