余龙江,博士,华中科技大学教授、博士生导师,现任生命科学与技术学院副院长,资源生物学与生物技术研究所所长,教育部全国高校生物技术与生物工程分教指委委员,教育部新世纪优秀人才,生物技术国家特色专业、国家级教学团队及发酵工程国家精品课程和细胞生物学省级精品课程的负责人,全国高校“宝钢优秀教师奖”获得者;湖北省突出贡献专家及首届新世纪高层次人才,湖北名师。

2009年,荣获华中科技大学研究生评选我最喜爱的导师及华中科技大学三育人奖

2008年,负责的《发酵工程》评为国家精品课程,荣获华中科技大学教学名师称号

2007年,主编的《发酵工程原理与技术应用》评为国家级精品教材

2006年,指导的博士生论文获湖北省优秀博士论文;主编的化学工业出版社出版的《发酵工程原理与技术应用》列为普通高等教育十一五国家级规划教材

2006年,入选教育部新世纪优秀人才;主持的项目紫杉醇生物合成代谢调控的分子机理研究获湖北省自然科学三等奖(排名第一)
